Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at vicky@physiohealthhub.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We will perform an in-depth assessment of your scar and design a treatment plan for you. We offer a variety of treatments including massage,  specialist scar equipment, acupuncture, taping and scar products.

The aim  of our treatment is to make your scar more comfortable with this the scar appearance can improve but a scar will never completely disappear. Some scars will improve in a few weeks and others take a few months, factors that affect this are; where your scar is, whether it was planned or an emergency, type of scar, skin type,  your age, age of the scar, genetics and past medical  history.

No it doesn't. Our treatments are all very gentle, however if you experience any discomfort  during your treatment please let your therapist know and we can adjust the treatment to make you more comfortable.

A scar doesn't reach full maturity until two years. We can treat scars from 6 weeks  to 27 years old! It is worth noting that older scars will take a little longer to respond to treatment.

Any! If you have any questions please contact us via email or phone.

Yes, from 2-6 weeks we recommend NAQI repair oil and from 6 weeks onwards  you can use NAQI skin optimising lotion  (both are available in clinic or in the online shop). We also recommend silicone strips if your scar is still red.
